As some of you may remember, December 2017 I randomly drew an EL Camino for a new sketch series. I called the sketch series Sunday Drive. A few weeks after I drew the car, I decided to search the classifieds for an EL Camino project car that I can bring back to life. The process took about a month or so, but I finally managed to find one and snatch it off the market. It was a long 12 months after that, grinding, welding, long block sanding, throwing down tape lines and kandy paint, but I finally got it done....

This year, I partnered with Heineken USA for Art Basel / Miami Art Week. Launching Estrada / Heineken Murals throughout Miami, ending at SHOTS Miami in Wynwood. I had a blast painting at several locations around town. Make sure you go look for these murals at Black Point Ocean Grill, Cadillac Ranch in Kendall, and SHOTS Miami in Wynwood.     

For the second year, I have partnered with Contender Boats of Miami Florida to design a boat that is awarded to the winner of the 2018 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Championship. A couple years ago, the boat I designed the artwork for went to Jimmie Johnson. This year, Joey Logano took home the championship and his new Contender Bay Boat. The boat was unveiled at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat show a couple weeks ago and was on display at the race track near the winners circle.    Here's a photo of the boat before the boat show:

  Over the last few weeks, we have had an insane amount of rain. Hurricane Season had yet arrived, and we already dealt with a tropical wave in the Gulf of Mexico bringing a bunch of rain, then Sub-Tropical Storm Alberto came right behind. While the rain has put a damper mood around town, and washed out everyone's Memorial Weekend celebrations, it has turned the freshwater tarpon bite on.  So you might be wondering, what is a Tarpon Trail?  Jokingly, the past few weeks since we have had this rain, I've been using the term "Tarpon Trail" on my IG...
